Dr. Hubbard was an honoree at the Inaugural International Society of Diversity and Inclusion Professionals Living Legends of Diversity Award Ceremony in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, where he received the “Living Legends of Diversity Award” for creating the “Diversity ROI Analytics” and “Diversity Measurement Fields and the Associated Disciplines.” He is one of only 18 people in the world who has received this award.

Dr. Hubbard received the “Excellence in Global Leadership Award” from the World HRD Congress as pioneer and founder of the Diversity ROI analytics and measurement fields. This is the highest individual professional award given.
The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD, now ATD) inducted Dr. Ed Hubbard into the prestigious “ASTD New Guard for 2003.” The July/August 2007 Issue of Profiles in Diversity Journal featured Dr. Hubbard as the “Diversity Pioneer” in diversity measurement. Dr. Hubbard was also awarded the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences. This award recognizes an alumnus who has demonstrated distinctive achievements in a career and/or through civic involvement.
Dr. Hubbard serves on the Harvard Business Review, Diversity Executive Magazine, and Strategic Diversity & Inclusion Management (SDIM) magazine’s Editorial Advisory Boards and serves on the Board of Directors for The Ohio State University African American Alumni Society.
Dr. Hubbard served as the director and developmental education and black studies instructor at The Ohio State University at Newark. Part of Dr. Hubbard’s career was spent as a lecturer at Denison University. He also taught and worked with other colleges and universities here in the U.S., such as Missouri State University, Kent State University (where he serves as the diversity leadership and ROI metrics instructor of Kent’s Institute for Leadership Excellence), and in Canada at the University of Calgary, the U.K. at the University of Bradford in Leeds, England, the Pacific Rim, and elsewhere.
A sample of Dr. Hubbard’s corporate experience includes programming analyst and manager at Battelle Memorial Institute, systems analyst at Informatics Corporation, systems engineer at Xerox Corporation, organization development and education specialist at Mead Corporation, and director of compensation, training, organizational development, and communications for the $208 billion McKesson Corporation in San Francisco, CA.
Dr. Ed Hubbard has been featured in films, documentaries, Inc. Magazine, Forbes Magazine, Fortune Magazine, on NPR Radio, newspapers, trade journals such as Training and Development Magazine, The Diversity Executive, HR Magazine, network television, and several other news media. He has been a keynote speaker at conferences, workshops, executive retreats, U.S. Presidential Commission meetings, for-profit, non-profit, educational institutions, the U.S. Pentagon, military organizations, and many others worldwide for the past 40 plus years.
Dr. Hubbard is an expert in organizational behavior, organizational analysis, applied performance improvement, ROI measurement strategies, strategic planning, training and development, instructional design, diversity measurement and analytics, and strategic organizational change methodologies. He holds a Practitioner Certification and Master Practitioner Certification in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), a neuro-science discipline. Dr. Hubbard earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Ohio State University and earned a Ph.D. with honors in business administration from Century University.
She has many years of successful experience providing consultation to executives, work groups, women, and organizations. Her consulting engagements support managers, teams, and organizations to become more inclusive, resolve conflicts in the workplace, improve communication and enhance performance.
